Principal Residence Exemption


Do you own two homes, simultaneously in Michigan and are selling one of these home? You maybe eligble to get two homestead exemptions for the next three years.

Go to the downloads on the left and look at the information and form for Principal Residence Exemption.

Need more information contact your township board members.

Your twp assessor must recieve the exemption form before May 1st 2009 to get this homestead exemption for the 2009 tax season.
